Am amazed with the confidence & attitude these guys carry, no matter what situation are they in they display a great sense of maturity at their level of age, which for sure I never carried. These guys are pampered as kids(in the older generation language, these kids are spoilt by New generation Parents) who avoid physical punishment and prefer counselling very often, in my generation, I only remember getting slapped by dad, and end of the story no more discussions. And when these kids grow up, we often hear from the parents discussing with others whether these guys would be successful ? would they be able to compete with today's generation ? would they be able to work as hard as older generations used to do ?
Who are to be blamed now, whether the elders for creating the environment or the kids who don’t follow it ? it's a million dollar question, I say, both the parties are correct at their end, trust these kids, they are behaving as per this generation. It's just that these guys are facing toughest competition, where people around are highly ambitious, and the kind of education these kids are getting is far behind the quality what previous generations used to get.
These Kids wear flippers, high end mobiles, are always in social networks and carry the super attitude, but in various instances I saw them replying to emails from blackberries, I would say these guys are multi-taskers and the world require such people in the high end cut technology.
They speak good English at this age, I don’t remember speaking English fluently at their age, these guys plays with laptops, I had Fobia and was not sure how to insert floppy in computer disc ( Kiddos, I know you don’t know about floppies).
They have a great dress sense, they speak very well, they can party they represent in various forums, they know Abki Baar Modi Sarkar which means they have political fervor, they speak sports, they speak about markets, they speak about good bad and ugly, in such a small age, they have a lot of knowledge which I feel I never had and we still blame them that these guys are good for nothing.
These guys have encouraged social network sites so well that I see the lack of communication which was in 1990 and 2000's between family members and friends is decreased, a lot is being communicated within family members, yes, its today's generation who has connected everything again and we blame these guys that they don’t know the value of relationships. They are so matured and open that they take pics of the female siblings, encourage them to post in FB and like it, aren’t they open minded than us, aren’t they encouraging the female generation, give a thought about this generation, you will be surprised what we were not able to do was done beautifully by these guys. Am sure few of you are still finding loopholes in everything said above, but do you know any other option ? can you connect people, can you be multi-tasker, can you take these many counselling sessions, can you ignore the male and female demarcation, come on guys, I with my generation were not able to do and these Z generations guys have done it.
Look at a guy who have crossed 18 years of age, they start thinking of finances, how to earn ? gosh, go back to your ages, you were not able to take a decision hire an auto for your family outing and look at these guys, they can plan a journey for you on just their mobiles. I remember guys interested in Medicine during their school days, picking engineering in college and doing MBA for survival, but look at these guys, you don’t need an answer from me for this. These guys started earning from their learning.
The reason for writing this blog is about my sister Aarthi, who was pampered so badly by my uncle that he never allowed her to stay from home is in Hyderabad from last one year, learnt graphic designing and multimedia, staying in a girls hostel, moving in buses and had gone through her passion of designing and guess what the result is :
Before she completed her course, she was given an opportunity to design a pamphlet for one college and she ended up doing complete advertising material for that institution and the result was a blank cheque and EARNED 3000 rs for the last assignment", yes blank cheque, I know you can't believe it, but yes, that was treasured forever and will never be encashed. She has three offers now in hand for designing and she is busy with that, a girl who was considered a pampered sensitive girl is in a stage of earning with respect. Hatsoff Aarthi, proud to have you in the family, you are the emerging entrepreneur of Dodiya family, I don’t care where you lead, but you have shown a path to the younger generation.

Purani Peedi ko apni purani parampara todi padegi, taaki ek nayi peedi ek nay parampara kayaam kar sake.
Rather than appreciating the greatness of your 90's,Encouraging the present generation is the thing what we like in you! :-)
